This article published before more than a dacade in a Gujarati Daily Newspaper, is very special because it belongs to Late Shri Harilal Upadhyay's Home Town Paddhari. It is also a very good example of his research work. It is the story behind the existance of Shri Paragateshwar Mahadev Mandir (Temple of Lord Shiva) at Paddhari.

Many years ago, in Paddhari, there was a person styaing who possess cows. One of his cows (cow is considered as the most devine animal in Hindu mythologoy) which was daily goes to the Jungle to eat grass, when came back with others, was unable to provide any milk. It happened for few days and the owner of the cow have thought that it might be the Cowboy who is stealing the milk in midway. Though the cowboy was innocent and he have started keeping an eye on that cow. What he found was there is a "shivling" under the tree where the cow was standing and the milk flowen away on the shivling automatically from within her. The Cowboy have came back and told this to everyone, and the Temple have been established there.
