a respected and unbiased award named "Swargiya Sahityakar Shri Harilal Upadhyay Raupya Chandrak"
(Gujarati Author Late Shri Harilal Upadhyay Silver Medal)
has been awarded to Shri Mafat Oza,
a well known Gujarati writer, on the day of September 23, 1996 - Monday.
in a function organized by "ShabdRang"
at Balbhavan, Race Course, Rajkot, Gujarat, India.
The humble try to keep the memory of Late Shri Harilal Upadhyay alive, was praised by all the guest of honours
and Shri Mafat Oza did get emotional at the point of time. He told that he find himself lucky that his name
got associated with this award. Though Late Shri Mafat Oza has left the world behind before a few years,
he will be remembered for his contribution to the Gujarati Literature.

On the occassion of getting awarded "Late Harilal Upadhyay Silver Medal",
in a function organized by "ShabdRang",
the famous poet-critic Dr. Mafat Oza told that
"Words live forever, Its great for me if I could be a cause to give more importance to the words".
He was awarded with the good hands of the director of I. N. T., Shri Mansukhbhai Joshi.

He told that "We the people associated with the theaters,
are simply filling colors to the words.
The award given to the expert of words is makes us feel that the award is given to us."

Writer shri Pradyumn Joshipura (who writes fun riots) told
thatm Mafatbhai recieves this award after dedicated work
of three dacades and the literary society feels proud on him.
Harshad Chandarana - a poet from Amreli was guest of honour and
Janardan D. Pandya - Minister of Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, was the chief guest.

Harilal Upadhyay Smruti Sansthan have arranged a ceremony to award Guruji
of Smt. Maniben Nityakarm Sanskrit Pathshala; in order to encourage the great
activity keep the culture, morals and ethics alive.
The function was a success and it was noted by various news papers as well.

The Annual Function Of Pathshala has been celebrated in Paddhari
|

Rajkot, date 24: The 65th annual function Of Shrimati Manibahen
Revashankarbhai Trivedi Nityakarm Sanskrut Pathshala, founded by
Daivagna Chudamani Vidhyalankar Padmashri Vibhushit Mahamahopadhyay
Shastri Revashankarbhai Trivedi, has been successfully celebrated in the
ground of
Shri Pragateshwar Mahadev Mandir.
The main attraction of the
function was the kids playing Sanskrut Shlokgan, Presentation in
Sanskrut, Plays, Acting etc. At the end of the function, the students
were awarded as well.

The gem of this entire function was the program arranged by Swargiya
Sahityakar Harilal Upadhyay Smruti Sansthan (Late Litterateur Harilal
Upadhyay Memory Preserving Organization), to award the current Guruji of
pathshala Dolarbhai Vallabhbhai Trivedi. Shastri Vrujlalbhai and
Dalpatbhai (the astrologist) were chief guests. The guest of honour for
this function was Mangalabahen Harilal Upadhyay. The award script was
raed by Hemantbhai Upadhyay and the words of thanks was served by
Yashvantbhai Upadhyay.

Shantabahen and Papubahen R. Trivediwere present in this function as the
representatives of Swargiya Shastri Revashankarbhai. The Sarpanch and
other well known personalities were also present in the function.
Everyone appraised the above mentioned program and entire function
cheerfully.

The entire function has been handled by Jitenbhai Upadhyay. Ashishbhai
Trivedi, the teachers and students of pathshala and other volunteers did
really hard work to make the event a success.
